1.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to any bookings a person makes with Retreatself, the person agrees that these Terms and Conditions shall apply in full to the delivery of the treatment or retreat and that they form part of the contract between the person and Retreatself.
1.2 No variation of these Terms and Conditions shall apply unless confirmed in writing by or on behalf of the Director of Retreatself. These Terms & Conditions are subject to change at the discretion of Retreatself without notice.
1.3 Retreatself shall not be liable for any loss, damages, costs, claims, demands, expenses or liabilities of whatsoever nature arising out of the delivery of the treatment or retreat to a person as a result of their act or omission including but not limited to the following:
- The person failure to follow any oral or written instructions or recommendations in relation to the retreat/class/treatment.
- The person supplies to Retreatself any information that is inaccurate, false, misleading or out of date.
- Any loss or damage to any personal items and valuables which the person brings to a treatment, class, retreat
2. INFORMATION ABOUT US
2.1 The website (http://retreatself.com) is operated by us.
2.3 All of our Teachers are fully qualified Tutors, Instructors and Evaluators and their biographies and qualifications are listed on our website at retretaself.com
3. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
3.1 Participants are eligible for the Retreatself services if they are at least 16 years of age. If participants are under 18 years of age, all Course correspondence and payment transactions will be carried out with a parent or guardian.
3.2 Retreatself approves the principles of equal opportunity. Eligibility criteria for all services are applied equally to all participants regardless of age, race, national origin, sexual preferences or orientation, or disability.
3.3 Retreatself provides a comprehensive support service for students with a disability. Students with recognised disadvantages or disabilities may be given special consideration.
3.4 Applicants need to notify us during the registration process if they suffer from any condition, injury or disability that is not self-diagnosed.
3.5 Retreatself approves class, treatment, and retreat participants with pre-existing injuries, on the condition that a physician’s note is provided and the person participating has a clear knowledge of their ability to perform the practical components of the class, retreat or treatment. The participant enrols on any offers at their own risk and worsening of such injury will not be the responsibility of Retreatself.
3.6 The default language for all Retreats is English (optional Polish, German).
4. REGISTRATION PROCESS
4.1 All participants are required to register for the courses only via our website or e-mail.
4.2 Applicants are responsible for any mistakes they make whilst filling in their personal information during the registration process.
4.3 The applicant is responsible for notifying Retreatself of any changes to their address, phone number, etc. The notification has to be formally made via email with a scanned proof of change, e.g. any type of bill or document that contains the new address.
4.4 After submitting an application, you will receive an e-mail from us acknowledging that we have received your application, along with all the information required for your retreat or treatment.
4.5 The retreat or classes dates can be found on the Retreatself website. Once registered on a retreat, class, treatment the Applicant agrees to participate in all the dates.
5. BOOKINGS AND PAYMENT
5.1 All customers will be required to sign to say they have read and understood these Terms and Conditions and if applicable the additional terms and conditions relating to payment by instalments given on the first day of their course.
5.4 All bookings will be confirmed by Retreatself in writing to the email provided at registration.
5.5 All payments due to Retreatself shall be made without any deduction whether by way of set-off, counterclaim, discount, abatement, bank charges or otherwise.
5.7 Retreatself will send receipts to the email address provided during the registration process in electronic format only, upon receiving payment.
5.8 Any amounts of money paid that are not used for a booking any treatment, class, retreat within one year of the date of payment will be forfeited.
6. Service PLACES AND FEES
6.1 All Course places are subject to availability and are available on a first come, first served basis.
6.2 Before paying any deposit or treatment/class/retreat fees, applicants must ensure that they have read all the information available regarding services. Please contact Retreatself if you have any additional questions before you book and pay the deposit.
6.3 The retreat/treatment fees listed on the website are subject to change. Participants are required to pay the fees listed on the website at the time of their registration.
6.5 If a retreat/ treatment has been booked as a “special offer” including ?Early Bird?, the fees must be paid in full on the day of the booking or the place will be lost.
6.7 Multiple discounts cannot be cumulated on one retreat/treatment. No additional discount can be applied that is already advertised as a “special offer” including “Early Bird”. Vouchers and special discount codes can only be used against the regular price of a course.
6.11 Retreat accept payments by Visa, Visa Debit, MasterCard, American Express and Bank Transfer.
7.1 Retreatself is fully entitled to change the location of the retreat, prior to or after the planned commencement date due to foreseen and unforeseen circumstances that may occur, and prior to or during a course for the benefit of our clients and the company.
7.2 All our locations are rented. If we have to change the Location due to circumstances that are out of our control, we will notify the customers promptly and we will strive for the change to be made to another location in the same city.
7.3 If the retreat location is changed, Retreatself is not responsible for any additional travel arrangements participants may have to make.
7.4 If during a retreat/ treatment, a participant damages any equipment or any part of the building, the participant will be liable and will deal directly with the location’s proprietors. Retreatself will not be held liable for such damage.
8. RETREAT/ TREATMENT CANCELLATIONS
8.1 In the unlikely event that Retreatself has to cancel a retreat without being able to offer alternative dates,
Retreatself will provide a refund up to the value of the retreat/ treatment. Transportation and flight ticket costs will not be covered.
8.2 If a client does not show up on a retreat/ treatment, this will be treated as a cancellation. Refunds will not be given. The only possible solution is transferring the client’s place to another date if the client can provide a medical certificate as a reason.
9. REFUNDS AND TRANSFERS
9.1 Retreat start dates may be subject to change. If a retreat start date changes customers will be offered the opportunity to transfer their application to the new date or to receive a credit note of the amount paid.
9.2 The applicant must notify Retreatself in writing via e-mail if they wish to transfer their original booking to an alternative date. There is no guaranty that the transfer of the booking will be approved. The Retreatself team might declined the transfer request.
9.3. Retreatself will not grant the refund, however the customer can transfer the booking to the third person without any additional fee.
9.4 A transfer from one type of retreat to another can be made once only.
9.5 Transfer applications made during the retreat will not be accepted.
9.6 If a transfer request is made for a retreat that has been booked as a “special offer” including “Early Bird”, and if the transfer is approved, the applicant needs to pay the difference up to the regular price and do so on the same day of the transfer being approved in addition to the transfer fee. The reason being is that the special offer is formulated for one specific date and location.
10. CUSTOMERS DETAILS AND CONTACTING Retreatself
10.1 Customers are encouraged to swap contact details and network amongst themselves. In the unlikely situation that class, treatment or retreat related information doesn’t reach everyone, this will be a good backup plan to ensure nothing is missed.
10.2 The Retreatself team has made extensive efforts to ensure that the published data on the Retreatself website is comprehensive and gives clear details about its offers.
10.3 Having read all available information made available in written form and you need clarification or additional information please send an email to email@example.com. Telephone contact can also be made within normal working hours excepting weekends and bank holidays.
11.1 All complaints must be submitted by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org in which a participant states dissatisfaction regarding any area or service. Verbal complaints won’t be accepted.
11.2 Complaints will be handled in a fair and timely manner. The Manager will respond to the complaint within 10 working days of receiving the e-mail.
